LANSING, Ill. (April 10, 2020) – “We know it cannot take the place of our annual Stations of the Cross Prayer Remembrance Walk,” wrote church office manager Megan Roe. “However, now that we are gathered in our own homes instead of walking along Ridge Road as a community, perhaps this online Stations of the Cross will help Christians gather in their own homes in prayer.”
Roe included a link to Trinity’s YouTube channel, where a 13-minute series of images and readings captured the essence of the Good Friday tradition for the community:
The traditional prayer walk ends in the sanctuary of Trinity Lutheran Church with a prayer service. Trinity has also posted a second video for viewers who want to experience the online version of that short prayer service.
