The Lansing Journal works hard to ensure that the information we publish is accurate, and we welcome input from our readers letting us know when we’ve made a mistake. Our corrections policy is that we acknowledge our mistakes in a way that gives prominence to the corrected information. Because our publication is primarily digital, it is easy to make corrections to published articles, and we recognize that it is important to note when this has happened. In most cases we simply include an italicized note within the text, indicating what was wrong and how it has been corrected.
If an error is found by a reader and posted in a comment on the story, The Lansing Journal will make the correction and also indicate in the comments that the correction has been made.
