Michael R. Mischka, age 64 of Lansing, IL, passed away on Monday, April 22, 2024. He is survived by his three children: Jacquelynne Mischka, Jennifer Mischka, and Steven (Krystal) Mischka; his former wife: Lisa Mischka; two sisters: Pam (Clyde) Clayton and Penny (Archie) DeRidder; and his two faithful dogs: Diesel and Mia. Mike was preceded in death by his parents: Donald and Carol Mischka.
Friends are invited to visit with Mike’s family on Wednesday, May 1, 2024, from 5:00 – 8:00 PM at the Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home, 3227 Ridge Rd., Lansing, IL. There will be a time of sharing memories of Mike beginning at 8:00 PM in the funeral home chapel. In remembrance of Michael, please wear your favorite NASCAR gear.
Mike worked at Brites Cartage Co in South Holland, IL, in the maintenance department. He was an avid NASCAR fan and he adored his children and his dogs.
