Lovin’ the Latte: Connie Simon with her mom

LANSING, Ill. (April 16, 2024) – Connie Simon is always up for a Lansing Journal Latte, and last week she took her mom, Janet Sanders, to Kdulche Cafe for a mother-daughter outing. While Connie opted immediately for the signature beverage, her mom chose something else. Something green. Was it a cucumber-lime Agua Fresca? A cactus smoothie? A creamy melon horchata? We don’t know, but if it came from Kdulche, we’re sure it’s delicious.

Don’t forget, the Lansing Journal Latte — which combines chocolate, caramel, and vanilla notes — is available hot or iced. No matter what the day’s temperature is in Lansing this spring, there’s a suitable Lansing Journal Latte option.

What’s a Lansing Journal Latte?

The Lansing Journal Latte is a signature beverage created by Kdulche owner Eduardo Zepeda. The blend of caramel, chocolate, and vanilla flavors celebrates Lansing’s friendly diversity, and the rich espresso and cream evoke Lansing’s only newspaper.

The beverage is available only in Lansing, Illinois, only at Kdulche Cafe.
