Library Board Agenda: Swearing in new trustee, approving staff raises, and more

LANSING, Ill. (April 16, 2024) – The April 18 meeting of the Lansing Public Library Board of Trustees begins at 6:30 p.m. in the quiet study area of the library.

  6. Motion to approve the minutes from the Regular Board Meeting on March 21, 2024
  7. Motion to approve April 2024 expenditures for payroll, invoices, debit/credit card, and the Treasurer’s report
  8. Director and Department Head Reports: Outreach Coordinator Andrew Harootunian
  9. Old Business
  10. New Business
    1. Motion to approve a 4% raise for the staff for FY 2024-2025 with the exception of the two employees who will receive the 4% as a bonus, the library director, and the three employees with salary adjustments from the approved benchmarking survey, and the three recent hires
    2. Motion to approve the FY 2024-2025 budget for $6,481,675.00
    3. Motion to approve Resolution 04182024A for FY 2024-2025 Non-Resident Card fee of $317.00
    4. Motion to approve the updates to the Distribution of Free Materials policy
    5. Motion to approve the disposal of the Sonicwall NSA2600 for $1200.00
    6. Reminder: new officers are voted at the May meeting
    7. Reminder: Trustee Day is Saturday, May 18, 2024, at Orland Park: Director/ Trustee relations, 10:00 am -12:00 pm 15.00 ticket
  11. Motion to Adjourn

The next scheduled meeting of the Board of Trustees is Thursday, May 16, 2024, at 6:30 p.m.
