Henry P. Koval, age 94, of South Holland, IL went home to his Lord and Savior on Sunday, April 10, 2022. Beloved husband of Anne C. Koval, nee Rabenstein. Loving father of Karin Jurgenson and Julie (Andrew) Applebee. Cherished grandfather of Amy Loris Jurgenson and Erika Lee (Robert Jones) Jurgenson. Great-grandfather of Addison Emma Jurgenson. Preceded in death by his parents Peter and Elizabeth Kovalevitch.
Henry was a graduate of Houghton College in Houghton, NY. He retired as the director of Manufacturing for World Book Encyclopedia. Henry was an avid woodworker, especially of jigsaw puzzles. He was loved by many and will be deeply missed.
Visitation Thursday, April 14, 2022, from 10 a.m. until the time of the celebration of life service at 11 a.m. at First Reformed Church, 15924 South Park Avenue, South Holland, IL. Interment Evergreen Cemetery – Berkshire, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Moody Bible Institute (820 N. LaSalle Blvd. Chicago, IL 60610) are greatly appreciated.
