GARY, Ind. (January 19, 2022) – Hard Rock Casino Northern Indiana is continuing to host performances through March 2022. A full list of the acts is included below, which are free unless otherwise specified.

Friday, 1/21/2022

Mike Wheeler Band – Council Oak Bar Stage – 8 p.m.

  • Mike Wheeler has a vast knowledge of music and a voice that’s reminiscent of the late Sam Cooke. From jazz to rock, from popular music to Top 40, he is a staple in the Chicago blues community. Mike plays and writes songs for a variety of Chicago artists including Nellie Tiger Travis, Peaches Staten, Sam Cockrell, Demetria Taylor, Big Ray & Cadillac Dave. Mike was inducted in the Chicago Blues Hall of Fame in 2014.

Boy Band Review – Hard Rock Café Stage – 9 p.m.

  • Boy Band Review is a premier boy band tribute show. Bringing full production lights, video, choreography, harmonies, and energy, Boy Band Review has captured the hearts of fans with their boy band shows that transport audience members back in time to the days of frosted tips and hunky frontmen professing their undying love. Boy Band Review shows are an incredible throwback experience where fans relive great years.

  • Maurice Joshua is a Grammy Award winning producer, songwriter, and DJ. Known as the Remix King, Maurice has worked with Beyoncé, Donald Lawrence, Mary Mary, Zhane, Yolanda Adams, Patti Labelle, Michael Jackson, Luther Vandross, Mary J Blige, John Legend, and other talented artists.

7th Heaven – Hard Rock Café Stage – 9 p.m.

  • 7th Heaven is a Pop Rock band from the Chicagoland area. 7th Heaven started in 1985 and is one of the biggest and busiest indie bands in the world. The band has released over 800 original songs.

  • Mr. Blotto is Chicago’s Original Jam Band, with 30 years as a non-stop touring band and over a dozen albums and nearly 4,000 concerts under their belt. Generational audiences are engaged and surprised as the band breaks down norms and expectations by playing surprise albums in their entirety, or voyaging on complex musical odysseys. Mr. Blotto made it through the rough-and-tumble music world as survivors that now share their professional experience and creativity in every show.

Ivy Ford – Council Oak Bar Stage – 8 p.m.

  • Ivy Ford, is a singer, musician, and entertainer. Waukegan born and raised, at 26 she is an up-and-coming artist of the Chicago blues and live music scene. She plays piano, alto saxophone, drums, bass guitar, and guitar which are primarily self-taught. In late 2012, Ford joined a local blues band which in time evolved into Ivy Ford and The Cadillacs and gained fair amounts of popularity. Ford has since managed to take the Chicago scene by storm. In January, 2015, Ivy Ford opened for legend Buddy Guy at his club in Chicago and continues to share the stage with Chicago blues hall of famers.

Run Forrest Run – Hard Rock Café Stage – 9 p.m.

  • Run Forrest Run would like the 90s to bring their audiences joy. The band strives to put that joy to work, giving listeners the best 90s tribute in the Chicago area.

Carlos & Andreas – Council Oak Bar Stage – 8 p.m.

  • Guatemalan-American guitarist Carlos Bendfeldt gave his New York debut in Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall in 1997 and since then his concert career includes a second appearance at Carnegie and major concerts through North and Central America, Hawaii, and the Caribbean. Andreas Kapsalis is a Greek-American guitarist and composer. He has been performing internationally, solo, and in various ensembles for festivals and concert series in Europe and Asia, such as Montreaux Jazz Festival in Switzerland, the Calcutta Guitar Festival in India, Austria Jazz festival, and the Guitar Festival in the Philippines.

R-Gang – Hard Rock Café Stage – 9 p.m.

  • R-Gang is a collection of some of the most talented vocalists and musicians in the midwest. They have been performing as a band for the last 18 years and have entertained at every large venue in the city and suburbs including a stint as the on-the-field band for the Chicago Bears at the old Soldier Field.

  • With classic Americana-tinged rock & roll steeped in the blue-collar charm of their hometown, Chicago’s Fletcher Rockwell has been building a loyal fanbase throughout the Midwest since 2009. While widely known for their original songs, the group is also revered for clever versions of the most popular cover music, spanning everything from vintage Tom Petty, Paul Simon, and Talking Heads to contemporary roots revivalists Chris Stapleton, Dawes, and Mumford & Sons.

Cowboy Jukebox – Hard Rock Café Stage – 9 p.m.

  • Cowboy Jukebox is Chicago’s 5-piece country rock party band and plays country music for people who love country music and for people who hate it. The band plays top 40s country of the decades as well as a few surprises from the Pop Billboard charts all the way to hits of the 90s and 2000s.

  • Detroit’s Laura Rain and the Caesars transform funky soul and R&B into their own unique vision. Inspired by the spirit of classic recordings of a bygone era, Laura Rain creates her own environment of expression with a powerful and soulful voice.

Robert Randolph and the Family Band – Hard Rock Café Stage – 9 p.m.

  • Robert Randolph & The Family Band first gained national attention with the release of their debut album, Live at the Wetlands in 2002. The band followed with three studio recordings over the next eight years; Unclassified, Colorblind, and We Walk This Road. Randolph’s prowess on his instrument garnered him a spot on Rolling Stone’s “100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time” list, and also gained the attention of artists like Eric Clapton, Dave Matthews, The Roots, and Jack White, who have since collaborated with Randolph on stage and in the studio.

  • Mackenzie O’Brien is a singer songwriter and band leader from the northern Illinois / southern Wisconsin area. Mackenzie has headlined at various venues in Chicago, Madison and Nashville and also performed in the cities of Denver, Los Angeles, Dallas, Milwaukee, and Austin. Mackenzie has landed over 25 original songs on small market radio in the USA and Europe and seeks to expand her reach and brand.

The Smiley Tillmon Band featuring Kate Moss – Council Oak Bar Stage – 8 p.m.

  • Smiley knows how to have a good time and makes sure his audience does too. After 55 years on the local blues scene, Tillmon serves up the blues and soul standards that people never seem to stop craving, his rich vocals and fluid guitar backed by a band that keeps his grooves tight and right. He joined forces with bassist Tom Rezetko, and they’ve been inseparable onstage ever since. Kate Moss shares guitar duties with Tillmon. Formed in Chicago, Illinois in 1993 by Anthony “T.” Duggins, the group’s lead singer and mandolin player, The Tossers developed a reputation for their storming live show and busy touring schedule.
