LANSING, Ill. (April 9, 2024) – “I finally got to try the latte!” wrote Matt Kamien on April 4. “LCS is on spring break this week, so it was a good opportune time to run over there.”

Matt got his Lansing Journal Latte to go, and he took it back to LCS (Lansing Christian School) to enjoy. “I took the picture with our school verse,” he explained, “because I like how they connect … Lovin’ the Latte, just like how at LCS we are teaching our students to be Lovin’ like Jesus!”

Lansing Christian School has found unique ways to show love to the community this year, including their Thanksgiving Food Pantry Drive, providing tech support to Tri-State Village residents, creating posters for local businesses, and hosting the Chamber of Commerce Breakfasts with Santa and the Bunny.

“There is a lot of LOVE throughout Lansing!” says Matt.

Located at 3521 Ridge Road in Lansing, Kdulche Cafe opens at 9 a.m. Monday through Saturday and 10 a.m. on Sunday.

What’s a Lansing Journal Latte?

The Lansing Journal Latte is a signature beverage created by Kdulche owner Eduardo Zepeda. The blend of caramel, chocolate, and vanilla flavors celebrates Lansing’s friendly diversity, and the rich espresso and cream evoke Lansing’s only newspaper.

The beverage is available only in Lansing, Illinois, only at Kdulche Cafe.
