Classes offered through the Jayden M. Ross Faith Family Love Scholarship Foundation
LANSING, Ill. (April 8, 2024) – The Jayden M. Ross Faith Family Love Scholarship Foundation is offering free American Sign Language classes for beginners. Classes will begin April 18, 2024.
The classes will take place weekly on Thursdays through May 23, and will run from 6 – 7:30 p.m. at Our Saviour Lutheran Church in Lansing, 19058 Burnham Avenue.
Catrina Cantrell, founder of the foundation, said, “Thank you to Pastor Kyle at Our Saviour Lutheran Church for letting us utilize your church.”
Cantrell began the Jayden M. Ross Faith Family Love Scholarship Foundation after her 12-year-old son Jayden passed away following a lifelong battle with a congenital heart condition. Jayden also suffered from sensorineural hearing loss.
