Lansing Police Department will host test for new hires April 13

LANSING, Ill. (March 21, 2024) – The Village of Lansing Board of Fire and Police Commissioners is seeking new Lansing police officers.

The next police test is scheduled for Saturday, April 13. Application packets are available on the Village of Lansing website, www.VillageofLansing.org.

Completed applications and all required documents must be returned to the Lansing Municipal Center, 3141 Ridge Road, by 5 p.m. on April 3.

“The Lansing Police Department is seeking individuals that want to make a career out of their passion for protecting and serving,” said Chief of Police Al Phillips. “We are a premier agency in the South Suburbs of Chicago that focuses on community policing and serving our community. We have many opportunities for specialty positions including emergency response teams, K-9 handler, investigations, and more.

“We have a supportive administration including a mayor who was a former Lansing police officer,” Chief Phillips added. “Come work for a department that will support you and join our police family.”
