30 local parks stories this year that no one else reported
LANSING, Ill. (December 25, 2023) – Accessible, well-maintained local parks give a community places to gather, play, and celebrate — but only if people know about them. The Lansing Journal reports on parks in Lansing and the events that happen there.
In some cases, these stories prevent potential misunderstandings, as our video reports about Lansing’s new skate park did. In other cases, they inform new and long-time residents about enhancements and updates, as our 2021 video tour of Lansing’s “Destination Parks” did.
