John E. Frederick, age 81, of Dyer, IN, formerly of Lynwood, IL, suddenly, passed away Wednesday, July 26, 2023. Loving husband of Nancy Frederick, nee Wszolek. Devoted father of John D. Frederick, Nancy Jordan, and Anthony Frederick. Proud grandfather of Kelly (Robert) Sobucki, Patricia Jordan, Ethan Frederick, Eleni Frederick; great-grandfather of Devin Jordan, Kylie Sobucki, and Kayla Sobucki. Dear brother of the late Robert (Laura) Frederick; brother-in-law of Ann Marie Cibak, Patricia Mardos, and John Waszolek. Kind uncle of many. Preceded in death by his parents Anthony and Ann Frederick.
John was a huge sports fan, especially for the Chicago White Sox and Bears, and was passionate about Cadillacs and fine dining. John was loved by many and will be dearly missed by all.
Visitation Sunday, July 30, 2023, from 1 – 4 p.m. with a prayer service to be held at 3:30 p.m. at Smits Funeral Home, 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane, Dyer, IN, with Rev. Leo Gajardo officiating.
