Randal Jon Lyons, age 53, of Marco Island, Florida, passed away on April 26, 2023. He is survived by his mother, Audrey Lyons, as well as his former wife, Rachel Lyons, and his children, Tyler and Carly. He is also survived by his brothers, Steven (Sue), Derrek, and Max (Cindy) Lyons. He was predeceased by his father, Thomas Lyons and daughter, Hope Lyons.
Randal was born in Hammond, Indiana on March 15, 1970. He graduated from Thornwood High School and received a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Illinois. Randal began his career at Ford Motor Company as a Regional Representative in Florida, and more recently, worked for J.W. Marriott in Marco Island. Randal enjoyed being on the water on Marco Island with his SigEp brothers, watching the Cubs play and cheering on the Fighting Illini.
A memorial visitation will be held Saturday, July 22, 2023, from 12 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 2 p.m. at Smits Funeral Home, 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane, Dyer, IN. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The American Cancer Society.
