Local Voices: An Open Letter to the Lincoln-Lansing Drainage District

From the desk of Bob Malkas

I have tried for more than 40 years to show the Southland the needlessness of the Lincoln-Lansing Drainage District and have the files to prove it. No local government has ever paid attention to any of my efforts, but I keep trying.

Questions that need to be answered: What projects have been done with my last payment that benefits me and my fellow homeowners during the year? What happens if the bill is not paid?

I pay the bill each year under protest because I know what will happen if I do not pay.
