View the full lineup for Sunday’s Lan-Sing event at Fox Pointe

LANSING, Ill. (May 14, 2024) – Lan-Sing: Music for the Soul will bring diverse music and performances to Fox Pointe on Sunday, May 19 starting at 1 p.m.

According to a Village of Lansing press release, the Human Relations Commission-sponsored event will, “celebrate the many forms of inspirational music produced and enjoyed in and around Lansing’s diverse community.”

Attendees are invited to bring their own food and non-alcoholic drink to the event, as well as their own chairs and blankets to sit on.

“We hope this event provides a way for diverse groups to share their spiritual and inspirational messages with each other and attendees at a beautiful venue and within a supportive and compassionate environment,” Lansing Human Relations Commission chair Valerie McDaniels said in the press release. “We are Lansing, so let’s set the example for the world how love and peace works!”

  • 1:15 p.m. — Our Lady of Knock Contemporary Guitar Group with Jeff Schoettle, Shepherd of Souls Parish

  • 2:35 p.m. — New Beginning Worship Center
  • 2:50 p.m. — The Barefoot Violinist, Regina Williams
  • 3:05 p.m. — Pastor Dave & The Trustees, First United Methodist Church

  • 3:50 p.m. — Poetry by the Appetizers, Lansing Food Pantry
