Gail Jade Akison, nee Burch, age 35, of Joliet, IL, passed away Wednesday, July 13, 2022. Beloved wife of Shawn Akison. Loving mother of Katie Burch, Seth Akison, and Wesley Akison. Dear daughter of Ralph and the late Mari Jo Burch. Dear sister of Eric (Sara) Burch, Carol (Michael) Williams, Sharon (Joseph) Fry and Glen Burch. Daughter-in-law of Mary Sutherland. Aunt of many nieces and nephews. Gail was deeply loved by all that knew her and will be dearly missed.
Visitation Wednesday, July 20, 2022, from 3 – 7 p.m. at Spirit of God Fellowship, 16350 State St. South Holland, IL, followed by a funeral service to be held at 7 p.m. with Pastor Brian Kamstra officiating. Memorial contributions may be given to the Akison family.
