LACE gives pancake breakfast funds to first responders

LACE Director Maureen Grady-Perovich presents checks to American Legion, LFD, and LPD

LANSING, Ill. (February 11, 2022) – The Lansing Association for Community Events (LACE) presented a total of $1,200 to Lansing’s American Legion, the Lansing Police Department, and the Lansing Fire Department on Wednesday, February 9, and Thursday, February 10. The money had been raised during a 2021 pancake breakfast that was designated for veterans and first responders. The breakfast was part of Autumn Fest 2021, a LACE-sponsored event for the community.

The American Legion, the Lansing Police Department, and the Lansing Fire Department each received a $400 check from LACE to use at their discretion.
