Bernadine JeffersonBern was born in St. Louis, Missouri on March 12, 1957, to Harold and Jessie Jefferson. She is survived by her mom Jessie, older sister Jacquelyn Jefferson, brother Myron E. Jefferson, half-brother and sister Darrell and Joyce Jefferson, niece Ashley Dear, nephew Bradley Jefferson, niece Miesha and nephew David Jefferson, and several grand-nieces and grand-nephews, and her friend Bernard. She completed her education at CVC High School, Chicago State, and DePaul Universities. She was a flight attendant and real estate agent, and a school teacher for many years. Bern became a Christian at the early age of 9 years. Before her death she was a dedicated member at Moody Bible Institute. Everywhere she went and with everyone she met, she would spread and share the gospel.

Row, row, row your boat, Bern was born into our family. She was fun and a continuous and steadfast spokesperson for Jesus. Gently down the stream, you passed away. We hope and pray that your next dream you are loved and appreciated as much there as you were here. Merrily, merrily, merrily, merrily, life is but a dream.
