Linda J. Brand, nee Genovese, age 74, of Bangor, MI, formerly of Thornton and Harvey, IL, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 26, 2024. Beloved wife of Dennis Brand. Loving mother of Michele (Rob) Cleaver, Cindy (Steve) Brand, and Carrie (Nathan) Johnson. Proud grandmother of nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Dan Genovese, Susan Jaros, Paula Genovese, Al (Kathy) Genovese, and the late Elizabeth (Fred) Twietmeyer. Preceded in death by her parents Daniel and Lois Genovese. Linda was a librarian at the Homewood Library for many years. She was loved by many and will be dearly missed.
Memorial visitation Saturday, June 1, 2024, from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. with a memorial service to be held at 6:00 p.m. at Smits Funeral Home, 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane, Dyer, IN.
