SOUTH HOLLAND, Ill. (April 30, 2023) – The Thornton Township Board met on Tuesday, April 23 and heard two public comments, voted to approve bills, and heard from Finance Director Robert Hunt on the tentative budgets for the three township funds: General, General Assistance, and Road & Bridge.
Supervisor Tiffany Henyard spoke at the meeting, encouraging residents to participate in ongoing township events, as well as a May 4 Cinco de Mayo event at the township.
Henyard also said, “Don’t believe everything you hear, read, see. Come and find out for yourself, do research, check it out before you decide. Stop having one-sided narratives because it is not the truth. It’s only one-sided.”

I have for almost a year has browsed this news site. I am unable during local news air time to keep up what is going on bad or good. So far i find that many topics are on point and duplicated on tv news which ensures me i can rely on keeping up with topics that interest me. I give thumps up for now as i hope i you stay true and legit. And i hope overwhelmed on advertising and keep viewers not to be victim to cyber attacks. I truly thinking on off the grid as social media and inquiring is the door way to hell i feel. Keep up good work
