Half-staff flags: Honoring fallen Department of Corrections Sergeant Andrew “Drew” Faught

United States and Illinois flags half-staff through Saturday

The Department of Central Management Services has received notice from Governor JB Pritzker that all person or entities covered by the Illinois Flag Display Act are to fly the flags at half-staff in honor and remembrance of:

  • Department of Corrections (Pontiac Correctional Center), Sergeant Andrew “Drew” Faught, who passed away April 8, 2024 while serving as a member of the TRT team.

Please lower the United States flags and the State flags at all buildings occupied by your agency’s personnel from:

  • Sunrise on Thursday, April 11, 2024, to Sunset on Saturday, April 13, 2024
