Marion M. Torrenga, née Mapes, age 96, of Homewood, Illinois, passed away Friday, March 1, 2024. Loving wife of the late Gilbert Torrenga. Dearest sister to the late Lloyd (late Harriet) Mapes, late Wesley (late June) Mapes, late Raymond Mapes, and late Robert (late Mildred) Mapes. Kind aunt to Tom Mapes, James Mapes, late Dorothy Mapes, late Robert Mapes, and Wesley Mapes. Preceded in death by her parents Cleveland and Anna Mapes.
Visitation Tuesday, March 5, 2024 from 10:00—12:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 p.m. at Smits Funeral Home, 649 E. 162nd St. (RT.6/159th St.) South Holland, IL.
