Pop-up pantry

Mt. Zion UFL Center partners with Illinois Partners In Hope to distribute a variety of donated food once or twice a week. These pop-up pantries are open to anyone, and no ID is required.

Free ‘n Fun Bingo at Kasey’s

Time: 6 p.m.

Location: Kasey’s Banquet Hall and Lounge, 17800 Lorenz Avenue, Lansing

Bingo happens every Wednesday night at 6 p.m.

District 158 Board meeting

Heritage Middle School Black Heritage Program

Black History Month Poetry Slam

Safety Program for Older Adults

Time: 9 – 11 a.m.

Location: Lansing Fire Department headquarters, 18200 Chicago Avenue, Lansing

The Lansing Fire Department facilitates a National Fire Protection Association program called Steps to Safety Program for Older Adults, developed through the CDC. This program touches on 16 key fire and fall safety messages that are commonly linked to aging adults. It incorporates fun trivia questions and social interaction activities. Library Cinema: The Color Purple 2023

Time: 12 – 2:30 p.m.

IF:2024 Women’s Conference

“The gathering is a two-day telecast event where women all over the world gather together, get equipped, and discover the next step in their calling.
