Mt. Zion UFL Center partners with Illinois Partners In Hope to distribute a variety of donated food once or twice a week. These pop-up pantries are open to anyone, and no ID is required.

Safety Program for Older Adults

Location: Lansing Fire Department headquarters, 18200 Chicago Avenue, Lansing
The Lansing Fire Department facilitates a National Fire Protection Association program called Steps to Safety Program for Older Adults, developed through the CDC. This program touches on 16 key fire and fall safety messages that are commonly linked to aging adults. It incorporates fun trivia questions and social interaction activities.
