Black Celebrity Bingo

Time: 4 – 5 p.m.

“Who was the first black man to star in a Hollywood film? How many Grammys has SZA won? Fill up your brain (and your bingo sheet) with trivia about notable African-American artists, past and present!” Registration required.

Queen of Hearts @ Pour on Roy

Time: 5 p.m.

Location: Pour On Roy, 18155 Roy Street, Lansing

The Queen of Hearts is back after January’s big win! Drawings will take place every Tuesday until the queen is found.

Pop-up pantry

Time: 9:30 a.m.

Location: Mt. Zion UFL Center, 2340 177th Street, Lansing (708-394-3555)

Mt. Zion UFL Center partners with Illinois Partners In Hope to distribute a variety of donated food once or twice a week. These pop-up pantries are open to anyone, and no ID is required.

Valentine’s Day sweets and treat

Time: 4 – 5 p.m.

Location: Lansing Public Library (Teen Island), 2750 Indiana Avenue, Lansing

“Level up your culinary skills this Valentine’s Day! Create a treat for someone in mind, or just learn some of the basics of treat decorating.” Register here.

Free ‘n Fun Bingo at Kasey’s

“Crue U starts the new year at JJ Kelley’s in Lansing, IL on February 17 2024 with the band High Alert as the opener this night. Come out and see what’s new and say hello. The place will be rock’n with your favorite Motley Crue tunes to sing along and dance to. Bunco

“This is co-ed Bunco — not just for the ladies. Auxiliary is hosting Bunco on February 18, 2024 from 1 — 4 p.m. Doors will open at 12 p.m. We will have Bunco College before the games for anyone who does not know how to play or needs a refresher course. Bunco is a really fun and easy game to play. Price is $20 per player. Come alone or get your friends together for some fun, food , raffles and prizes!”
