LANSING, Ill. (February 10, 2024) – The Lansing Police Department releases a crime blotter every other week, as well as data detailing what kind of calls were received during the previous two-week period.
The first graphic below breaks down the different types of calls received by LPD, while the second is a heat map showing the “hottest areas” in Lansing for calls during the two-week period.

Is it any surprise the hottest spots are in the business corridor on Torrence Ave. Another good reason to avoid that area if possible.
