March 2, 1954 – December 31, 2023
Neil Douglas Thomas, a devoted husband, father, and pap-pap, peacefully departed this world on December 31, 2023, surrounded by the love of his family. Born on March 2, 1954, Neil was preceded in death by his father Ken, mother Pat, step-father Dean, son Keith, and granddaughter Shyann.
Neil is survived by his loving wife, Karen, and children: Bryan (Lee Ann) Thomas, Robert (Marcie) Phares, Daniel (Emily) Phares, and Becky (Tim) Stevenson. He leaves behind a legacy of love and joy in his grandchildren: Savannah, Quinn, Konner, Karsen, Rorie, Jules, Jackson, and Colton. Neil is also survived by his brother Ken Thomas and sister Carol White.
An avid member of his church, Neil was a man of strong faith, and his devotion to God was evident in every aspect of his life. He found great joy in being part of his church community.
Neil’s passions extended beyond his faith to his love of camping and traveling the country. Having grown up in the Pittsburgh area, he was a lifelong Steelers fan, cheering for his team with unwavering loyalty.
Above all, Neil cherished his family, and his love for them was immeasurable. He was a source of strength, support, and endless love. His spirit will live on in the stories and memories shared by family and friends. His memory will be forever etched in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on January 13, 2024 at:

Visitation will be from 10:00am to 12:00pm immediately followed by a memorial service.
