“It’s too fancy,” “It’s too expensive,” and other misperceptions
LANSING, Ill. (November 17, 2023) – People noticed when the abandoned Card Carousel building on Ridge Road started undergoing a major transformation. The yellowing bricks were painted white, the old sign came down, the window frames were enhanced, a new canopy replaced the rusted overhang.

In addition to the exterior work, Cadou Decor owner Summer Megdadi cleaned out inventory and fixtures that had been left behind, remodeling the space into a showcase for high-end furniture, art, and gift items.
She officially opened for business last December and has been adding inventory and offering consultations during the past year. This week The Lansing Journal stopped in to learn more about what Cadou Decor brings to Lansing:
