The Lansing Journal journeys: Polar Express

-

Submitted by Janice Schurman

“For Journal Journeys,” wrote Jan, “[my husband] Dave and I went to Nashville, Tennessee and saw ICE! Featuring the Polar Express at Gaylord Opryland.” The Schurmans of course had a print copy of The Lansing Journal with them.

“So we went to the North Pole via the Polar Express!” wrote Jan Schurman, left. (Photo provided)
“We have the parkas on because it is 9 degrees in the show to keep the ice from melting,” explained Jan, right. (Photo provided)
Dave and Jan Schurman have a supply of print issues of The Lansing Journey in their vehicle, so they are able to take advantage of any possible Journal Journeys opportunity. (Photo provided)
