The Lansing Journal journeys: Helsinki, Finland

-

Submitted by Sandra Wagner

Sandra Wagner traveled to Finland with her longtime friend Allison Mäkinen. She went to Helsinki, then to Vaasa, where Allison lives, and then traveled to the city of Rovaniemi, which is above the Arctic Circle.

Wagner said, “We saw the beautiful Northern Lights and took many pictures of them. It was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and I was astounded by the beauty of the Aurora Borealis.”

Wagner brought along her traveling edition of The Lansing Journal. She said, “The Lansing Journal I am holding is my globe-trotting edition, which I displayed on my trip last year in Sydney, Australia. It was the special edition of Summer In Lansing 2022.”
