Merry C. Venn, nee Litherland, age 79, of Crete, Illinois, formerly of South Chicago Heights, Illinois, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 27, 2023. Beloved wife of the late Martin J. Venn. Loving mother of Victoria (David) DeBoer and Jennifer (Branden) Johnson. Cherished grandmother of Emma and Ethan DeBoer. Kind aunt of many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her siblings Elenora Litherland, Harry (Shirley) Litherland, and Donna Litherland. Merry will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Visitation to be held Saturday, October 7, 2023, from 9 a.m. until time of the Funeral Service at 11 a.m. at Smits, Steger Memorial Chapel – 3045 Chicago Road, Steger, IL.
