Alex Justin “Burt” Salgado, age 58, suddenly, of Calumet City, IL, passed away Thursday, August 17, 2023. Dear brother of Claudio, Agustin (Josefina), Julia, Tina, Juan (Lorna), Rob, Guillermina, Arturo Jr. (Theresa), and the late Bonifacio (Christina) Salgado. Kind uncle and great-uncle of many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his loving parents Arturo and Sofia Salgado.
Memorial visitation Sunday, August 27, 2023, from 3 – 8 p.m. with a wake service to be held at time pending. Prayer service Monday, August 28, 2023, at 9 a.m. from Smits Funeral Home, 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane, Dyer, IN, to Jesus, Shepherd of Souls/St. Andrew the Apostle Church, 768 Lincoln Avenue, Calumet City, IL, for a 10 a.m. Memorial Mass.
