Mary Bernadette Niven, nee Truesdale, age 65, of Lowell, IN, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 22, 2023. Beloved wife of David A. Niven. Loving mother of Nicholas Niven, Brittney (Michael) Kurczewski, and Bridgette (Michael) Sockel. Doting GG of Brayden Kurczewski, Brody Niven, Aubrey Kurczewski, Caleigh Niven, Camden Kurczewski, Gavin Niven, Willow Sockel, and Finleigh Sockel. Dear sister of the late Donald Truesdale, Kathy (Gary) McKinney, Terry Truesdale, John (Diane) Truesdale, late infant Mickey Truesdale, Judy (Tom) Viramontes, Janet (David) Corning, and the late infant Timmy Truesdale. Loving aunt to many nieces and nephews, and godmother of Kara Kurmsee (McKinney) and Brennen Viramontes. Preceded in death by her parents Donald and Joanne Truesdale. Mary was loved by many and will be dearly missed.
Visitation Tuesday, August 1, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 3:00 p.m. at Village Church, 14849 W. 93rd Avenue, Dyer, IN, with Rev. Steve Miller officiating. Memorial contributions may be given to the Polycystic Kidney Foundation (https://pkdcure.org/).
