LANSING, Ill. (July 1, 2023) — Cloudy skies could provide a perfect backdrop for fireworks at Lan-Oak Park Monday evening. Gates open at 7:30 p.m., the sun sets at 8:30 p.m., and fireworks begin at 9:30 p.m. The daytime high is forecast to reach 83 degrees, cooling to 72 by 10 p.m. Lan-Oak Park is located at 180th and Arcadia. The park district has set up three entry points to the park for the fireworks event — on Oakley Avenue, Arcadia, and 180th Street.
