Video: Aquatic Life and More pet store comes to Lansing

Greg Kowalski and Tiffany Johnson share their passion for the aquatic and the exotic

LANSING, Ill. (March 24, 2023) – Some community members will remember a pet store called Fin and Feather that sold fish, birds, and small mammals from a Ridge Road storefront west of Gus Bock’s Ace Hardware. And some will remember Terry’s Aquarium and Pet Store, also known for the wide variety of fish, birds, and reptiles they sold from their Lansing location next to M. Horvath Jewelers on Ridge Road.

Fin and Feather is gone, and Terry’s Lansing building was destroyed by fire in 2004. But that two-decades-old gap in our portfolio of shopping options comes to an end with the opening of a new pet store, Aquatic Life and More.

Greg and Tiffany were hard at work getting ready for opening day of the pet store — Monday, March 27 — but they took a break to give The Lansing Journal a preview:

Aquatic Life and More pet store

Aquatic Life and More is located at 18155 Roy Street, Suite 3, just north of Pour On Roy. The pet store does not yet have a website or Facebook page, but Greg says people are welcome to call him with questions at 708-307-3055.

Thank you for building community with The Lansing Journal by staying informed and connected about local businesses and other community news.
