GARY, Ind. (October 6, 2022) – The next handful of months at Hard Rock Casino Northern Indiana will see a wide variety of acts come to the venue’s three performance stages.

Friday, 10/7/2022

Laura Rain – Council Oak Bar Stage – 8 p.m.

  • Laura Rain is a hard driving soul singer who uses the power and finesse of her own voice to inspire and electrify your spirit. Born and raised in Detroit, she delivers her original music with fearless emotion and excitement. Along with her creative partner George Friend, the pair have released four albums, and six singles with a unique blend of contemporary funky soul, blues, and R&B worthy of Detroit’s rich history of musical innovators.

Cowboy Mouth – Hard Rock Café Stage – 9 p.m.

  • For over two decades, Cowboy Mouth has dished up its unique style of rock & roll gumbo, mixing a rowdy spirit reflective of the band’s hometown — New Orleans — with the fierce firepower of a group that lives on the road. These Louisiana natives have played more than 2,500 concerts and launched their signature song, “Jenny Says,” into the upper half of the Billboard rock charts.

  • Cincinnati native and perpetual misfit, Erin Coburn is known for her prolific songwriting and modern approach to American Rock and Roll. Her relatable lyrics and soul-gripping vocals are a striking compliment to scorching guitar solos and infectious riffs. She is unafraid to be authentically herself, always delivering an unforgettable experience.

Too Hype Crew – Hard Rock Café Stage – 9 p.m.

  • Too Hype Crew brings old school R&B and Hip Hop jams to life. The band believes regular DJ sets just can’t compare to the energy of a 100% Certified Live performance.

Melody Angel – Council Oak Bar Stage – 8 p.m.

  • She’s a truth-teller and guitar shredder. Born and raised on the South Side of Chicago this self-taught guitarist has an electrifying live show, recently showcased on the main stage at the 2022 Chicago Blues Festival. At age 15, Angel’s mom brought home a guitar from a pawnshop, and Angel never put it down. It’s still her main guitar to this day. Angel’s unique mix of blues, and rock n’ roll may remind listeners of one of her biggest influences Jimi Hendrix, while still having a look and sound all her own. Angel is currently on tour promoting her 4th full-length album FOXY, which is receiving national and international radio airplay.

Tyler Reese Tritt – Hard Rock Café Stage – 9 p.m.

  • A true entertainer at heart, Tyler Reese Tritt has always imagined herself growing up to sing professionally. She first got that chance in 2012 recording the classic Don Henley and Patty Smyth duet, “Sometimes Love Just Ain’t Enough,” with her father, Travis Tritt, at 14-years-old. Since that pivotal moment, Tyler has played for thousands at venues and festivals across the country while opening for a variety of acts, such as Sheryl Crow, Travis Tritt, and Runaway June. She also released her debut single, “Perfect,” a song about young romance, in 2017.

Dave Specter – Council Oak Bar Stage – 8 p.m.

  • Dave Specter has earned an international reputation as one of the premier talents on the Chicago music scene. Since 1985 Specter has performed regularly at top Chicago venues in addition to clubs, festivals, and concert halls throughout the USA, as well as countless venues globally. Dave was inducted into The Chicago Blues Hall of Fame in 2018.

Radio Gaga – Hard Rock Café Stage – 9 p.m.

  • For the first time, audiences will hear all the hits of both Queen and Lady Gaga in this Vegas-style production show, complete with eye-popping costuming, dazzling choreography, and unmatched showmanship. Audiences will be amazed at the “Concert That Never Was.”

Mike Wheeler Band – Council Oak Bar Stage – 8 p.m.

  • Mike Wheeler has a vast knowledge of music and a voice that’s reminiscent of the late Sam Cooke. From jazz to rock, from popular music to Top 40, he is a staple in the Chicago blues community. Mike plays and writes songs for a variety of Chicago artists including Nellie Tiger Travis, Peaches Staten, Sam Cockrell, Demetria Taylor, Big Ray & Cadillac Dave. Mike was inducted in the Chicago Blues Hall of Fame in 2014.

Ronnie Baker Brooks – Hard Rock Café Stage – 9 p.m.

  • Ronnie Baker Brooks is a Chicago Blues and Soul staple. Brooks has been declared “blues royalty”, as his style honors the torch-bearers of this unique sound which includes Willie Dixon, Buddy Guy, B.B. King, Luther Allison as well as his father — Lonnie Brooks.

Old Grand Dad – Council Oak Bar Stage – 8 p.m.

  • Old Grand Dad is an ethylene-soaked trio from Chicago, Illinois. Bred for rockabilly, these freaks have started sneakin’ out by the light of the moon to taste the rest of the “Devil’s music.” California bass man Cody “Goose” Siragusa and Hoosier drummer deluxe Danny Lee Beasley shared a love of the old man’s music and a serving job in Wrigleyville; enough said. Their duet turned trio with guitarist and North Avenue homeboy Colin Brennan, a bastard of city and country but Irish enough to break a string each night. Road tested and dancer approved, OGD is an all-singing, all-writing, washer pitchin’ electric hayride on fire. BYO Fireworks. Goose handles the matches.

Joanna Connor – Hard Rock Café Stage – 9 p.m.

  • Renowned blues guitarist and singer-songwriter Joanna Connor has played with Buddy, Junior Wells, Otis Rush, Sammy Lawhorn, Pinetop Perkins, Hubert Sumlin, Magic Slim, Son Seals, Lonnie Brooks, and Koko Taylor, just to name a few. Two 15-plus year residencies at the House of Blues and The Kingston Mines honed Connor’s considerable guitar and vocal chops. While working continuously in Chicago, a handful of videos of her incendiary slide guitar solos went viral creating quite a sensation and garnering attention from media and established musicians alike. Joe Bonamassa sought her out and offered to produce the kind of record he felt Joanna had always had in her and should deliver to the world.

  • One of the most successful singer-songwriters in music, with well over 500 songs to his credit and 100 million albums sold, Paul Anka has the distinction of being the only artist in history to have a song on the Billboard charts during seven consecutive decades. His instantly recognizable hits include “Put Your Head on My Shoulder,” “Diana,” “My Way,” and “The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson” theme. Ivy Ford – Council Oak Bar Stage – 8 p.m.

  • Ivy Ford, is a singer, musician, and entertainer. Waukegan born and raised, at 26 she is quite the up-and-coming artist of the Chicago blues and live music scene. Ivy Ford started performing live with Kenosha-based band The Real Deal at 13, and since then continues to nurture her musical calling. She plays piano, alto saxophone, drums, bass guitar, and guitar which are primarily self-taught. In late 2012, Ford joined a local blues band which in time evolved into Ivy Ford and The Cadillacs. In January of 2015, Ivy Ford opened for the legend Buddy Guy at his club in Chicago and continues to share the stage with Chicago blues hall of famers J.B. Ritchie, Joe Moss, Toronzo Cannon, and Tom Holland.

Buckle – Hard Rock Café Stage – 9 p.m.

  • Taking the genre to an entirely new level, Buckle is a premier Chicagoland country-rock band.   • Mr. Blotto is Chicago’s Original Jam Band. Mercyful Fate – Hard Rock Live – 6 p.m.

  • Mercyful Fate was formed in early 1981 in Copenhagen, Denmark, by vocalist King Diamond and guitar player Hank Shermann. Guitarist Michael Denner, Bassist Timi Hansen, and Drummer Kim Ruzz soon joined to complete the band line-up. The band recorded two demos in 1981, and later signed with Rave On Records in Holland, for recording of their successful EP “Mercyful Fate”, released on November 8th 1982. Tracy Morgan – Hard Rock Live – 7 p.m.

  • Tracy Morgan is one of the most well-respected comedians in his field. Known for starring on seven seasons of NBC’s Emmy and Golden Globe Award-winning 30 Rock, Morgan appeared opposite Tina Fey and Alec Baldwin as “Tracy Jordan.” Morgan received an Emmy Nomination in the Supporting Actor category for his work on the show and was nominated multiple years for the Supporting Actor NAACP Image Award. Keith Jackson and The Triple Dose Band – Council Oak Bar Stage – 8 p.m.

  • Northwest Indiana is a known stomping ground for many highly acclaimed artists and “The Triple Dose Band” keeps that list going. Making their debut in 2001, these highly talented musicians met during a jam session in Hammond, Indiana. As a very versatile group, their performances lean towards the genre of variety music allowing them to satisfy the desires of all their listeners. The founder of “The Triple Dose Band”, Keith Jackson, first cousin to Michael Jackson, was greatly inspired by legendary artists such as: Quincy Jones, Miles Davis, Marcus Miller, Stanley Clarke, Rolling Stones, Eric Clapton and many others. Such inspiration led to the song choice for the demo that was recorded live in a studio. Each member of the band has his own claim to fame.

Breakfast Club – Hard Rock Café Stage – 9 p.m.

  • The Breakfast Club is the longest running, most recognized 80s tribute band in the United States. Formed in 1993, the group was the first of its kind. The mission was simple: create an entertainment group that embodied the enigmatic, creative, and buoyant spirit of music and live performances of the original MTV generation of the 1980s. That mission remains today.

Trinity of Terror: Ice Nine Kills, Motionless in White and Black Veil Brides – Hard Rock Live – 5:30 p.m.

  • Black Veil Brides is an American rock band based in Hollywood, California. The group, formed in 2006 in Cincinnati, Ohio, is currently composed of lead vocalist Andy Biersack, rhythm guitarist and violinist Jinxx, lead guitarist Jake Pitts, drummer Christian “CC” Coma and bassist Lonny Eagleton. Motionless in White is a traditional heavy metal band from Scranton, Pennsylvania. Formed in 2005, the band consists of Chris “Motionless” Cerulli, Ryan Sitkowski, Ricky “Horror” Olson, Vinny Mauro, and Justin Morrow. Their band’s name is derived from the Eighteen Visions song “Motionless and White”. Ice Nine Kills, best known for its horror-inspired lyrics, was formed in its earliest incarnation in 2000 by high school friends Spencer Charnas and Jeremy Schwartz. The band is very theatrical in terms of lyric and tone. Their stage show involves a lot of theatrics as the band comes from a more rock ‘n roll kind of world with big guitar solos and gang vocals. Tina Jenkins Crawley & The PM Collective – Hard Rock Café Stage – 9 p.m.

  • Tina is one of Chicago’s finest and most highly acclaimed vocalists with a songbook ranging from jazz standards through Motown, Funk, R&B, as well as songs one might hear on the radio today. She is currently featured as a recurring character and vocalist on the TV show “Empire” and has appeared on the stage or screen with artists like Jennifer Hudson, Heather Headley, Nelly, and Celine Dion. Vino Louden – Council Oak Bar Stage – 8 p.m.

  • Vino Louden is a Chicago Blues Hall of Fame Inductee born in the small town of Hayti, Missouri. Since fronting his own band, Vino Louden Band has played venues locally and abroad, including Buddy Guys Legends, Hollywood Bowl, Windy City Live, House of Blues, Chicago Theater, and in Brazil, France, and Japan. He has recorded with Jimmy Johnson, Buddy Guy, Koko Taylor, Otis Clay, Martin Scorsese Film and his own CD Vino Louden Live. Vino also acts as the bandleader of the “the Queen of the Blues” Koko Taylor. Also, he has worked with acts such as John Lee Hooker, B,B, King, Bonnie Raitt, Robert Cray, Led Zeppelin, Jim Belushi and the Blues Brothers. Vino is currently preparing an acoustic/electric project.

Infinity – Hard Rock Café Stage – 9 p.m.

  • Formed in 1985, Infinity grew from being not only a Journey Tribute band, but one of the top drawing cover bands in the Midwest. Two-plus decades rocking hundreds of local music festivals and lighting up the Chicago suburbs each summer have put Infinity in front of hundreds of thousands of fans.

Ally Venable – Hard Rock Café Stage – 9 p.m.

  • The pandemic might have silenced the music scene, but with Heart of Fire, Texas’s favorite new gunslinger Ally Venable is coming off the ropes swinging. Defying dark times and rolling up the amps, this fourth release from the acclaimed singer-songwriter is a record to rattle speakers and signpost better times ahead. “My vision was to really spread a positive message of love,” said Venable. “The world needs that right now.”

The Smiley Tillmon Band featuring Kate Moss – Council Oak Bar Stage – 8 p.m.

  • Smiley knows how to have a good time and makes sure his audience does too. After 55 years on the local blues scene, Tillmon serves up the blues and soul standards that people never seem to stop craving, his rich vocals and fluid guitar backed by a band that keeps his grooves tight and right. He joined forces with bassist Tom Rezetko, and they’ve been inseparable onstage ever since. Kate Moss shares guitar duties with Tillmon. Drummer George Baumann completes one of the Windy City’s toughest blues combos.

Nate Venturelli – Hard Rock Café Stage – 9 p.m.       

  • Country Singer Songwriter Nate Venturelli is from Northwest Indiana. Nate’s new single “Union Man” is a song written about the story of his grandfather’s life growing up to becoming a Union Steelworker, and has gotten recognition from Unions around the country. Nate can be heard on Country Radio 105.5 FM from Chicago to South Bend, WIVR Country 101.3 FM, iHeart 98.3 FM, Y Country 97.5 FM, Q Country 102.9 FM, 89.1 FM, AMI Jukebox worldwide, and all streaming platforms. Nate has been featured in The Entertainer, The Times, The Tribune, NWI Life, and on NBC news.
