George R. Otto, age 74, of Crete, IL, went home to his Lord and Savior on Friday, September 9, 2022. Beloved husband of Judy Otto, nee Tempelman. Loving father of Jeffrey (Leianne) Otto, Kristen (Aaron) Vander Linden, Melissa (Chris) Huge, Renee (Shaun) Nelson and Douglas (Monica) Kooy. Cherished grandfather of Cassandra, Mallory, Adrian, Iris, Kolton, Rylan, Laney, Haylee, Jocelyn, and Marissa. Dear brother of Raymond (Mary Ellen) Otto and the late Barbara Otto. Kind uncle of several nieces and nephews. George was loved by many and will be dearly missed.
Visitation Friday, September 16, 2022, from 3 – 8 p.m. at Bethel Christian Reformed Church, 3500 Glenwood-Lansing Road, Lansing, IL. Funeral service Saturday, September 17, 2022 at 10 a.m. at Bethel Christian Reformed Church. Interment Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens – Schererville, IN. George was a U.S. Army Veteran. Memorial contributions may be given to New Leaf Resources, World Renew, Freedom Bound Jail Ministry, Bethel Christian Reformed Church, Lansing Christian School, Highland Christian School, or Illiana Christian High School.
