TFS Sports round-up: Cheerleading moves on

December 14-15, 2021

As part of The Lansing Journal’s ongoing efforts to increase sports coverage at TF South, we have asked TFS coaches to provide us with information about their matches/games. The Lansing Journal posts these scores and summaries multiple times per week in a “TFS Sports round-up.”

LANSING, Ill. (December 15, 2021) — The scores for December 14 – 15 are below:

Late reported scores for Sunday, December 12

TFS Cheerleading

Opponent: Marian Catholic Invitational

Score: TFS has qualified for the Illinois Cheerleading Coaches Association’s state tournament in Springfield

Late reported scores for Monday, December 13

TFS Girls Basketball

Opponent: Lockport High School

Score: TFS lost to Lockport 43-31.

Saniyah Payton shined for TFS with 10 points.

Tuesday, December 14

TFS Boys Bowling

Opponent: Evergreen Park High School

Score: TFS snuck past Evergreen Park (1975-1914).

High game for the day went to Ethan Modjeski (240).

TFS Girls Bowling

Opponent: Eisenhower High School

Score: TFS lost to Eisenhower (1292-1132).

High game for the day went to Abby Kleidon (158).

Tuesday, December 14

TFS Girls Bowling

Opponent: Lemont High School

Score: TFS beat Lemont (1267-1063).

High game for the day went to Abby Kleidon (166).
