The event will be held at LARC’s administrative and main program facility, located at 19043 Wentworth Avenue in Lansing.

This year’s main courses include:

  • a three-piece honey-fried chicken plate for $14
  • a combination plate featuring fried chicken and ribs for $18

All meals will be served with mashed potatoes, baked beans, coleslaw, a dinner roll, dessert, and coffee. Carry-outs will be available, and beverages will be sold separately.

For those dining in at LARC, the event will feature a beer garden, cash raffle, live music, DJ, and other activities.

Sponsorship opportunities range in price from $150 to $750. Some sponsorships include complimentary dinners and reserved parking. In-kind donations, such as gift cards and gift certificates from area restaurants and businesses, will help to provide additional raffle revenue at the event.

All proceeds will support more than 100 individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in programs that provide job training and employment, daily life skills enrichment, senior programing, 24-hour residential services, and special recreation.

“We’re excited to be partnering with Glenwood Oaks Restaurant again,” said Executive Director Ernie Gonzalez. “We hope our friends in the community will join us for a few hours. It’s a great opportunity to see our facility, where amazing things happen five days per week.”

Those interested are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance, as limited tickets will be available at the door. Sponsorships and in-kind donations should be received by Friday, October 11.
