GLENWOOD, Ill. (October 6, 2018) – Glenwood Village Pet Hospital recently celebrated the completed remodel of its facilities with a community open house on September 29. The pet hospital, which has served the south suburbs and Northwest Indiana for decades, invited visitors to see transformed spaces in the main lobby, waiting areas, exam rooms, and surgical areas.
The open house included free activities for children, such as face painting and a stuffed animal bandage station. Guests also enjoyed visits from the Glenwood Fire Department, Critter Corral guinea pig rescue, and Humane Indiana.
“We loved the opportunity to entertain the kids and always enjoy educating the community about pet care. We enjoy hosting community events like pet talks and our annual pet pictures with Mrs. Claus,” said hospital manager Gina Frazier, of Lansing. This year’s Pictures with Mrs. Claus will take place on December 7 from 4:00–7:00pm, and all are welcome (proof of rabies vaccine is required).
Glenwood Village Pet Hospital offers wellness exams, vaccines, treatments, and surgeries for dogs, cats, birds, small mammals, reptiles, and other exotics. The hospital is located at 555 E. Glenwood-Lansing Road.
