Joseph Edward Hein, aged 66, passed away on June 15, 2024. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Joe was born on June 26, 1957, and grew up in Lansing, Illinois. He went on to attend Thornton Fractional South High School and later opened Brothers Siding and Window Company. Throughout his career, he was known for his hard work and passion for helping others.
More than anything, Joe was a devoted husband and father. He loved spending time with his family, playing the guitar, and sharing stories by a bonfire in the backyard. He was always there to offer guidance and support no matter what challenges they faced.
In his free time, Joe enjoyed fishing, music, and politics, and was always eager to share his knowledge and enthusiasm with others.
Joe is survived by his loving wife, Lynda; his children, Kelly (Robert) Wojnovich, John Hein, and Joseph (Olivia) Hein; and his grandchildren, Savanna, Evelyn, Vada, Ava, and Joseph. His memory will be cherished by all who knew him.
A celebration of life will be held for family and friends on August 11th, 2024, at J.J. Kelley’s in Lansing.
