Male Athlete Spotlight for May 13-18
Karrel Harvest, TF South boys track
The senior swept the throwing events at the Class 3A Bloom Sectional, winning the discus in 180-2 and the shot put in 53-6.5.
Female Athlete Spotlight for May 13-18
Jordyn Clark, TF South girls track
The freshman finished fifth in the long jump at the Class 3A state finals with a leap of 18-3.75. She also joined Taylor Poole, Janiya Lucas and Nyrobi Moore on the 400-meter relay team, which set a program record of 48.98 in the state preliminaries.
