HAMMOND, Ind. (April 7, 2024) – Roald Dahl’s Matilda The Musical, a Tony Award-winning masterpiece, celebrates childhood anarchy, the power of imagination, and follows the inspiring story of Matilda — a girl with wit, intelligence and psychokinetic powers. Unloved by her cruel parents, Matilda impresses her teacher, Miss Honey, and faces challenges at school with the menacing headmistress, Miss Trunchbull.

Bishop Noll’s Drama Club will present the popular musical at 7:30 p.m. on April 19 and 20 and 2:30 p.m. on April 21. All shows are in the Bishop Noll Auditorium, 1519 Hoffman Street, in Hammond. Lizbeth Gonzalez stars as Matilda in the production along with Maisie Wragg as Miss Honey and Catherine Ralphson as Miss Trunchbull.
