Local Sierra Club to present ‘Electrify Your Home – (Partially) at the Government’s Expense’

Monday, Match 11, 2024, at 7:15 p.m. via Zoom or in person at Frankfort Public Library

CHICAGO, Ill. (March 4, 2024) – The Sauk-Calumet Group of the Sierra Club will be hosting “Electrify Your Home – (Partially) at the Government’s Expense” on Monday, March 11, at 7:15 p.m.

The program will feature the Citizen’s Utility Board, who will explain why it’s important for people to electrify their homes as part of the fight against climate change. Attendees will learn about government incentives that can help homeowners modernize, and about important upcoming conservation bills in the spring legislative session.

This meeting will be a hybrid meeting. The in-person meeting will be held at the Frankfort Public Library, located at 21119 Pfeiffer Road (corner of Pfeiffer Rd. and Rt. 30), about a mile east of LaGrange Road on Rt. 30 in Frankfort, Illinois.
