Registration for Old Timers baseball, softball, and volleyball opens February 3

LANSING, Ill. (February 1, 2024) – As milder weather turns minds toward spring, Lansing Old Timers is inviting families to start registering for baseball, softball, and volleyball.

Registration will take place at St. John Lutheran Church on both Saturday, February 3, and Saturday, February 17, both running from 10 a.m. to noon.

A late registration will be held at the church on Thursday, February 22 from 6–8 p.m.

St. John Lutheran Church is located at 18100 Wentworth Avenue in Lansing.

Softball

Lansing Girls Softball players range in age from 4 to 18. No residency limits apply. Seasons consist of 10-14 games, which usually start in April.

Registration fees for the 6u (Age 6 and up) league are $125; fees for 8u-18u are $200. Families also have the opportunity to reduce their registration fees by $50 for each player by selling discount cards that are given out at registration.

Baseball

The registration fee for Little League T-Ballers (ages 4–6) is $150, while the fee for the Pee Wee (6-8), and Major Divisions (9–12) is $200. Families also have the opportunity to reduce their registration fees by $100 for each player by selling raffle tickets that are given out at registration.

Eligible players must live in Lansing, or live in Calumet City east of Torrence Avenue and south of Sibley Boulevard.

Volleyball

Registration for volleyball is $205. Participants must be 9 years old by 7/31/2024.
