LANSING, Ill. (January 27, 2024) – “Dave and I went to Kdulche this morning and had the Lansing Journal Latte,” wrote Janice Schurman on a foggy Saturday morning. They enjoyed it so much that they nearly forgot to take a photo, but we agreed that a photo of the empty cup still counts.
What’s a Lansing Journal Latte?
The Lansing Journal Latte is a signature beverage created by Kdulche owner Eduardo Zepeda. The blend of caramel, chocolate, and vanilla flavors celebrate Lansing’s friendly diversity, and the rich espresso and cream evoke Lansing’s only newspaper.
The beverage is available only in Lansing, Illinois, only at Kdulche Cafe.
The Lansing Journal has created a “Love Lansing a Latte” shirt design to celebrate the unique partnership with Kdulche.
What’s “Lovin’ the Latte”?
The Lansing Journal invites anyone who orders a Lansing Journal Latte to take a photo and email it to [email protected] for publication. Make sure to include:
- The names of any people in the photo
- The name of the person who took the photo
As a community newspaper, The Lansing Journal appreciates community participation. One of our longest-running series is Lansing Journal Journeys, an award-winning feature that showcases people bringing The Lansing Journal to creative locations.
Lovin’ the Latte is an offshoot of Journal Journeys that celebrates The Lansing Journal’s creative partnership with Kdulche Café.
