Things to do in Lansing this week – December 25 edition

LANSING, Ill. (December 24, 2023) – The items listed below are public events compiled from a variety of community sources. They represent a diversity of ways to be involved this week.

Coffee Break

Christmas Around the World

Time: Various
Location: Lansing Historical Society Museum, 2750 Indiana Avenue, Lansing.
This annual exhibit shows over 30 Christmas trees and highlights holiday traditions from around the world. It’s open through January 6, but is closed December 30 – January 1. The exhibit is open Monday – Thursday, 6 – 8 p.m. and Saturdays, 12 – 3 p.m.

LACE Queen of Hearts

Time: Tickets must be purchased by 6:45 p.m. for the drawing at 7 p.m.

Fox Pointe Daily Tree viewing

Wednesday, December 27

Family BINGO/ LOTERIA

Time: 5:30 – 6 p.m.
Location: Lansing Public Library, Community Room, 2750 Indiana Avenue, Lansing
Head to the library for a fun night of family BINGO/LOTERIA (Mexican BINGO) and a chance to win a tasty treat!

Open Jam Night at Bottoms Up

Fashion Paradise

Sunday, December 31, New Year’s Eve

New Year’s Eve Party at Kasey’s

Time: 7 p.m.
Location: Kacey’s Banquet Hall and Lounge, 17800 Lorenz Avenue, Lansing (708) 895-7720
The event will feature a free appetizer buffet at 8 p.m. and a live DJ. There will also be a champagne toast at midnight.
