HAMMOND, Ind. (December 12, 2023) – The Bishop Noll concert band and Bishop Noll choir, under the direction of Mr. Rocco Carioto, will perform Christmas concerts at 7 p.m. December 16 and 2 p.m. December 17. The music will center on children and the Christmas movies of childhood.
“This year we wanted to take everyone back to sitting in front of their TV sets in our PJs to those days when we couldn’t wait to watch ‘A Charlie Brown Christmas, ‘Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer’ and more,” said Carioto, now in his 13th year at Bishop Noll.
Other music selections will include “The Polar Express” and “It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year.” The Bishop Noll choir will feature songs such as “Holly, Jolly Christmas,” “Feliz Navidad,” and “All I Want for Christmas is You” along with a few surprise songs.
The concert band will be joined by the BNI jazz band for some swinging Christmas songs and by the BNI rock band for some great familiar Christmas pop songs.
The concert is fun for the entire family and the end will feature a surprise visit from Santa himself — a great family photo opportunity. The free concerts will take place in the BNI auditorium.
