Monday, November 20

Spice Club

Time: All month long

Location: Lansing Library, 2750 Indiana Avenue, Lansing

The online description for this program says, “Spice up your cooking! Register each month to receive a sample of a new spice along with an info card, delicious recipes, and more. Pick up at the Info Desk. Please register for each month separately.”

Sunnybrook District 171 Board meeting

Time: 6:30 p.m.

Location: Heritage Middle School, 19266 Burnham Avenue, Lansing.

Tuesday, November 21

Coffee Break

Time: 10:30 a.m.

Location: Lansing Public Library, 2750 Indiana Avenue, Lansing

Gentle Tai-Chi & Meditation

Time: 12 – 1 p.m.

The Lansing Garden Club meets on the third Tuesday of the month.

Time: 6 p.m.

Wednesday, November 22

Pop-up pantry

Time: 9:30 a.m.

Location: Mt. Zion UFL Center, 2340 177th Street, Lansing (708-394-3555)

Mt. Zion UFL Center partners with Illinois Partners In Hope to distribute a variety of donated food once or twice a week. These pop-up pantries are open to anyone, and no ID is required.

Crochet & knitting group

Time: 9:30 – 11:30 a.m.

Location: Lansing Public Library, Brick Room
2750 Indiana Avenue, Lansing

“Bring your own supplies and learn some techniques from this talented group!”

Kasey’s Karaoke – Blackout Wednesday

Time: 6 p.m. – midnight

Location: Kasey’s Banquet Hall and Lounge, 17800 Lorenz Avenue, Lansing

Bar Bingo starts at 6, while karaoke starts at 8. $3 import beers, $3 Tito’s, and $3 Fireball shots are the drink deals of the day.

Renard Whiskey tasting at Bevda’s Beverage Superstore

Time: 6 – 8 p.m.

Location: Bevda’s Beverage Superstore, 16955 Torrence Avenue, Lansing

Sample Renard Whiskey at Bevda’s, and purchase a bottle to take home if you like it.

Dirty Vibes and 2nd Nature Band at S.L Wine Bar

Time: 8 – 10:30 p.m.

Location: S.L Wine Bar, 3224 Ridge Road, Lansing

Dirty Vibes and 2nd Nature Band will play at S.L Wine Bar. Admission is free, but a two-drink minimum is required.
