LANSING, Ill. (September 11, 2023) – Little Wolves Preschool Coordinator Elizabeth Carey confirmed that openings are currently available for area families who want to enroll their 3- to 5-year-olds to begin social, emotional, and intellectual development.
The preschool schedule from Tuesday, November 7, 2023 – Thursday, May 9, 2024, is:
- Tuesdays and Thursdays: 10:40 a.m. – 12:15 p.m.
- Wednesdays: 10:05 a.m. – 11:15 a.m. (because of the shortened schedule at TF South on Wednesdays)
The daily schedule includes free play as well as organized activities in a combination of small-group and large-group activities.
Subject areas include art, math, science, music, children’s literature, and storytelling. As an additional benefit, the lessons are created by high school students enrolled in the Child Care Practicum courses, under the direct guidance of their instructor.
“When sending your child to become a Little Wolf,” said Carey via email, “you are becoming part of something that benefits the whole community!” She encourages local families to “join our pack!”
