District 158 Board regular meeting – June 21, 6 p.m.

The June 21 meeting of the District 158 School Board begins at 6 p.m. The meeting will occur at the Administration Center, 18300 Greenbay Avenue in Lansing.

Public hearing

A Public Hearing is scheduled at 6 p.m. for the public to comment on the transfer of up to $1,500,000.00 from the Transportation Fund to the Educational Fund and the transfer of up to $12,000,000.00 from the Educational Fund to the Capital Improvements Fund. Following the Public Hearing, the Regular Board Meeting will commence.

Schedule and Open Meetings Act

District 158 meetings are usually scheduled for the third Wednesday of each month.

The Open Meetings Act requires that “An agenda for each regular meeting shall be posted at the principal office of the public body and at the location where the meeting is to be held at least 48 hours in advance of the holding of the meeting.” District 158 posts agendas and board packets in a folder on its website.
